A summer day

July 2010 - 7:00 am
The alarm goes off. Indoors it feels like 28 degrees. Today is the Marketing Symposium at LMU university in Munich, where we have a stand as a sponsor with myself representing censhare. I have swapped my car for Dieter Gohl's VW Touran family carrier which is parked in front of my apartment in Ismaning, packed to the hilt. So off we go to Munich! » read more

Nonverbal communication - a recent experience

I was on the train to Munich recently, on my way back from visiting customers, when a Chinese man boarded in Stuttgart and sat down opposite me. He gave me a friendly smile, placed a printout of a train schedule on the little table, pushed it in my direction and pointed to the word Munich. I believed to perceive a questioning facial expression and he obviously wanted to be reassured that he was sitting in the right train.
